Due to rapidly escalating needs, United Way of Robeson County has established a COVID-19 Community Relief Fund, to support efforts providing services to residents impacted by Coronavirus.
The goal of the fund will be to distribute financial resources as quickly as possible to Robeson County nonprofits.
United Way of Robeson County will continue to implement a fund solely dedicated to food and food distribution throughout the county.
Donations to United Way of Robeson County’s COVID-19 Community Relief Fund are deductible for tax purposes.Congress passed the CARES Act which allows up to $300 in contributions made to a nonprofit charity as a deduction from their gross income if they take the standard deduction on their 2020 tax return
To make a donation by check, other assets, or to direct an IRA Qualified Charitable Deduction (QCD) to United Way of Robeson County for the United Way COVID-19 Hunger Response Fund, contact Lauren Metzger firstname.lastname@example.org or 910-739-4249.
